Wenger officer's watch - 8 weeks ago
This has been my beater for a while. It is a great watch, good timekeeper. I rate it at about 80% on the TZ scale. It is on a stainless bracelet for which I have no more links - my wrist is about 71/4 inches. Quartz movement. $45 shipped in the US - Paypal preferred. I bought this watch from Dennis Rudy and it has worked flawlessly with the Asian Unitas movement that he installs. The lume is excellent on the sandwich dial and hands. It is a hand wound movement. Dennis says the following - "This is a modern homage to the 6154 that was provided to the Egyptian Military around 1956. The original watch was 47mm this watch is much more wearable at 44mm." Since this has no takers and before putting it up on eBay let me reduce the price - to $250 shipped and I can include a new Z 22 strap. This is the classic 6309 7040 150m diver's watch. The dial and hands are aftermarket as is the band. The crown screws down well - about three and a half half turns. I replaced the crystal with a new Hardlex one. There are four extra links. I have a nice, well used Ollech and Wajs M4 - at least I think that is the model - this one has no date and uses the trusty ETA 2824-2 movement. It gets little wrist time so I am selling this and a couple of other watches. The case and bracelet have many signs of use so I would TZ rate it at about very good 85%. The pictures try to show the detail - in fact it looks quite nice but I do not wanby Ian Montgomery - PMWF Sales and Trade Forum WTB case for IWC caliber 89 - dial is 32mm - 2 months ago
I am looking to recase a caliber 89 IWC movement and dial from 1949. The case can be steel or whatever plated. The original is stainless and has 17mm lugs. Please let me know if you can help - thanks - Ianby Ian Montgomery - Watch Parts Xchange Ollech and Wajs - OW diver's watch. ETA 2824-2 - 200m - 1 year ago
