As a watch lover I want most of my watches to tell the time, but I also see a 'watch' as an item of mechanical jewellery which doesn't have to tell the time. This one does both!

...so wearing it 'dial out' wouldn't be a priority. The curved lugs don't help either - if they were straight it would be easier to wear either way.

Assembly wouldn't be a problem, but I'd have to make sure the crystal could be grabbed by a puller or I'd never get it off again without breaking it!

I have this idea that the modern watch has transcended its original purpose and doesn't actually need to tell the time - any mobile phone can do that perfectly well. Of course this challenges the notion of what constitutes a 'watch' and lots of people can't get their head around it, but I like the concept - not that I'm suggesting that no watch should tell the time, just that there is a place in
