they are a $uper buy for the $$$$. I know for sure that the Blue dial Chrono has a SII (Seiko-Epson) caliber VD54B quartz movement that keeps perfect time against the Atomic clock. For the other models, like your sub, I feel they, too, have the SII movement, though I have not removed the case back to check. I love all three of mine. on November 10, 1775. The Continental Marines were disbanded at the end of the war in April 1783 but re-formed on July 11, 1798. Despite the gap, I believe that the Marines recognize November 10, 1775 as their official beginning and celebrate this date as the Marine Corps Birthday. There was no official President of the United States. which is my "Radio Room" which I purchased from Andrej of this Forum. What a superb transaction. The watch is exactly as Andrej described, plus he included the orginal steel bracelet, the original leather strap, a red rubber dive strap, and the original box. I have mounted it on a black leather strap, for now.
