New carry bag. - Yesterday
This is the Maxpedition Mongo. I was using the Maxpedition Tactical Attache, but I wanted to shed a bit of bulk. I loved how well thought out the TA was, so I stuck with the Maxpedition brand and went to the Mongo. It was the only sling type that was large enough for a 13" laptop. The only gripes I have with it are that it has no built in laptop sleeve (easily remedied by carrying my own sleeve)by Tim H - Every Day Carry by BobbyMike I'm a big fan of Hummers, but they can hum rather loudly I've put them down on a flat wooden surface and they can make a fair bit of racket. It seems to vary wildly from one watch to another, though. Congrats on the acquisition, that's not a very common face. I'm a sucker for a red second hand, though, and the high dome makes that face even more compelling.by Tim H - Poor Man's Watch Forum This is interesting. Tourbillion made out of old AK-47s. - 6 weeks ago

Sellers pics: I'm kinda stoked. I've been doing the Steampunk thing for a while now, and have wanted a nice pocket watch for a while now. Does anyone have any firsthand experience with Smith's pocket watches?by Tim H - Poor Man's Watch Forum I've been wanting one of the hack/wind Seikos too (I think we all do). - 2 months ago

Swiss auto, and a celtic knotty case. I'd wear the heck out of one of these: It took a second for me to get past the engraved case, but after a bit, I decided I liked it. No listed pricing though.by Tim H - Poor Man's Watch Forum I like the roughened grips on that, and a Sig is never a bad choice. - 4 months ago

n/tby Tim H - Poor Man's Watch Forum New shoes for the Monaco I still haven't run across a decent ralley style strap that I like for this so far, so I decided to try a Panny style.by Tim H - Poor Man's Watch Forum Being as they're a Bob Lum design, and Bob passed on, they got hard to find. - 5 months ago

While looking for infor on my current Tag, I ran across this page: Having noticed that it's available via Netflix instant watch, I watched a couple episodes and was rather entertained. It's the original Arthur Conan Doyle novels set in modern times. I noticed that one of the first clues was someone's Breitling chronograph. Holmes himself in the series appears to be one of us, as he wears a Roby Tim H - Poor Man's Watch Forum Batteries for 214 Hummers are actually pretty easy to locate on the 'Bay (believe me, I know). - 5 months ago
