Hey, guys. I haven't been around much lately -- my new job keeps me pretty busy. I've wanted one of these Casios for a long time, and I finally got tired of waiting for Amazon to lower the price, so I moved it from my wish list into my cart. It was on the doorstep this afternoon: It's a little larger than I usually like, but it is very light and the strap is more comfortable than I would hby Les - Poor Man's Watch Forum I think they lost a lot of followers... - 4 months ago
... when they released that ridiculous, hideous "drinking" watch. Those of us who had been waiting 2 years for a 39mm GMT were a bit disappointed to see that this abomination was more important to them than fulfilling a promise they had made to customers several years before. As far as I know, this was their last "new" product. I still have my Ocean-1, but they lost me as a customer lby Les - Poor Man's Watch Forum Sounds like a driver problem - 4 months ago
I'm running W8 on three high-end Dell machines at home and at work with zero issues. I haven't had any crashes on the three of them, ever. The high CPU and continual fan operation are probably symptoms of the same problem. The resource monitor should make it easy to figure out what's eating your CPU cycles. --Lesby Les - Poor Man's Watch Forum Merry Christmas, Larry & PMWF! - 5 months ago
I haven't been around much lately (my new job keeps me *very* busy), but I wanted to stop by and say hello for the holidays. I'm wearing my Skyhawk AT today: Merry Christmas, everyone! --Les in FLby Les - Poor Man's Watch Forum Nice stuff, everyone! - 8 months ago
Wearing my trusty old Momo Design chrono today. I bought this spur-of-the-moment in Murano about 15 years ago. --Lesby Les - Poor Man's Watch Forum Re: Need Advice - Wanting to get my Omega Constellation Serviced - 9 months ago
I sent it to Mayor's' jewelers - a large regional chain based here in Florida. They are an Omega AD, and they sent the watch to Omega in New Jersey. --Lesby Les - Poor Man's Watch Forum My experience - 9 months ago
I have the same model Constellation. I sent it in last year for a full service, mostly because the crown had pulled out and would not stay in. The total came to a little more than $600, which included a completely new movement and a new crown. Yours, like mine, is the fairly rare day-date model: This was the second time I had sent my Constellation back to Omega. My wife bought this Belair for me about 10 years ago. I had never heard of them before. Apparently, they used to supply the "house brand" watches for a number of jewelry stores across the US. This one is very similar to your Trinity, and was also assembled in the USVI. As far as I know, these are the only two Belair watches ever mentioned on PMWF! --Lesby Les - Poor Man's Watch Forum Re: Almost forgot - Tissot PRS516 - 11 months ago

One of Tissot's best-known and most original designs: It's hard to tell from the picture, but the markers touch the inside of the crystal. --Lesby Les - Poor Man's Watch Forum Breitling Aerospace / Emergency - 11 months ago
This was a totally original design when it first appeared in 1992. This my 1995 model: --Lesby Les - Poor Man's Watch Forum Good choices! - 11 months ago
