My wife made me watch that movie - Yesterday
I'd seen bits and pieces of it, but never the whole thing through. Entertaining fer sure.by Dre - Poor Man's Photography by Chris Moy Be thankful they don't have opposable thumbs! - Yesterday
Our Little Man opens cabinets, pulls out tupperware, leaves a trail of destruction wherever he is and goes. Lately his fascination is putting collanders on his head and then running through the living room. Ugh.by Dre - Poor Man's Photography by Chris Moy Black and green for me today - Yesterday
Pulled out my GJVB chrono for today. Did receive a new strap for it yesterday, though I haven't mounted it on yet. Similar to this one, just solid leather with green stitching. Thicker and beefier, should change the look of the watch on the wrist.by Dre - Poor Man's Watch Forum Staying simple today with my Seiko Kinetic - 2 days ago
Though it seems I missed a thread about Seikos yesterday. Oh well, rollcall will do.by Dre - Poor Man's Watch Forum VSA Divemaster for this gray and overcast day - 3 days ago
Weather is pretty miserable, as is Little Man. Good thing the Divemaster can stand up to anything thrown at it.by Dre - Poor Man's Watch Forum Congrats! - 4 days ago
Our Little Man is growing nicely as well, though we're still hoping for an improvement in his sleeping. Some nights he sleeps great, others not so much. Eventually...by Dre - Poor Man's Watch Forum No change, still with the modded Binnache Anchor - 4 days ago
I did take the bracelet off late last night and put it on a nice thick sueded leather strap. Love how this watch wears, particularly on leather. Just the right size on my wrist, nice comfortable leather that's well broken in to my wrist. Perfect combination IMO.by Dre - Poor Man's Watch Forum See I like the lugs. - 5 days ago
I personally like that there's no gap between the case and a leather strap. Plus it's an uncommon look too.by Dre - Poor Man's Watch Forum I'd been mulling over a slight mod to one of my watches for a bit, finally decided to go ahead and get it done. Before: Now: Relume was done by Jay at MCWW. Not a 100% match, but close enough for me.by Dre - Poor Man's Watch Forum Like the piglets picture! - 6 days ago
Always neat to see how little animals all pile on top of each other when they sleep.by Dre - Poor Man's Photography by Chris Moy Since I fiddled with my Omega AT last night, it gets wrist duty today - 6 days ago
Put it on the JStrap since I posted the combination in JohnnyT's birthday thread. I've had it on the bracelet for some time, so this is a very nice change of pace.by Dre - Poor Man's Watch Forum Should be a good series to watch! - 7 days ago
I always root for the Wings a bit, they were my late friend's team. Meet my wife through him. Cancer's a bitch.by Dre - Poor Man's Watch Forum Happy birthday! - 7 days ago
I picked up a blue jstrap for you, it dresses down my Omega Aqua Terra quite nicely. In fact it's been a bit since I've had this combination together, think I'll reunite them tonite!by Dre - Poor Man's Watch Forum My Tag Aquaracer gets the nod today - 7 days ago
We have similar weather here. Grey, a fair bit of rain, cooler than normal. They keep saying it'll get better but so far it hasn't. I actually pulled out my Tag last night after I got home. Since it was out I'm continuing with it today.by Dre - Poor Man's Watch Forum No change, still with my big O7 American - 8 days ago
Didn't feel like pulling anything else out, so since the American was still running from yesterday, on the wrist it went.by Dre - Poor Man's Watch Forum Caps have some serious soul searching to do - 8 days ago
For all the regular season success, we've never had post season success. And a lot of that falls on the players.by Dre - Poor Man's Watch Forum Beer thirty Tasty beverage in my glass (21st amendment ipa), game 7 in the hockey series on the tube, and my hockey watch on my wrist. Monday evening is finally relaxing! What's on your wrists?by Dre - Poor Man's Watch Forum You still get the sense that it was grey and overcast! - 9 days ago
Some things you can't change. If it's dull and flat, that's what the camera will capture. No matter what hoops you jump through! Too bad the weather was that way for you at the coast. I'm hoping it's nicer for us when we're in Europe - first 2 weeks of June.by Dre - Poor Man's Photography by Chris Moy Thanks all! - 9 days ago
Still, we need more folks to participate and to vote. Even if you didn't take a pic, feel free to vote! Chris and I are going back and forth regarding some ideas for the next BMA. Standby for that please!by Dre - Poor Man's Photography by Chris Moy Going big and blue today - 9 days ago
Pulled out the big Ocean 7 American to start the week.by Dre - Poor Man's Watch Forum Absolutely - 12 days ago
Mine runs +12 seconds or so a day, and I can slow it down a bit by resting it crown-up overnight. For something like a vintage watch that didn't cost too much, I could live with +40/day. A relatively new and much more expensive Sinn? No way. Sorry that one didn't work out. They do pop up on sale periodically, so I'm sure you'll get the watch you want.by Dre - Poor Man's Watch Forum Starting the weekend with my Sinn 556 - 12 days ago

There's a few places in Slovenia, where I was born, that are similar. Maybe this summer when we're back there visiting I can take my little son and introduce him to the mountains.by Dre - Poor Man's Photography by Chris Moy A classic indeed! I remember mine fondly. - 14 days ago
Sold it off a long while back, but it's one of those watches that I say in retrospect I shoulda held on to. Same applies to the SKX009.by Dre - Poor Man's Watch Forum Don't blame you for sticking with that one! Big Brown for me today - 14 days ago
I have a watch incoming, it's making progress painfully slowly. Once it's here, I suspect it'll be on my wrist for a while! In the meantime, I wound up the big Bernhardt Officer's watch. Was just thinking this morning that you never see / hear of the brown dialed variant of this watch. He made a bunch of them, and they sold out. Yet you never see one for sale or any other mention of it.by Dre - Poor Man's Watch Forum |
