It's still running fine this morning. If I send the watch in and it appears to running fine when they take it out of the box, will they do anything? It keeps stopping for no apparent reason. Sometimes I can shake it and get it going again. Sometimes I can't. It has had plenty of wrist time to maintain a decent reserve. I had the paperwork and box ready to send into Seiko Service. Now it's running fine. I don't want to send it in and get a letter back explaining how automatic movements work.

the crystal is recessed into the bezel and somewhat protected. But, with this approach, it will be easy to polish the scratches. My hardlex crystal has a fine scratch across the center and there isn't much that I can do about it.
