To me you have the best looking Bond out there! - Yesterday
I remember when you first scored it and it was love at first sight for me. To me the graceful age is what makes it perfect. Like you said, the whole watch has aged evenly, and I would guess is all original. That adds scores to it's value IMO. Like cars, motos, bikes, etc...only lovingly fix "broken"...age isn't broken.by jinxed - Poor Man's Watch Forum That looks so much better!! - 2 days ago
Never been one for mismatched hands and makers as far as lume color is concerned. Although, I do own the same watch. The mod I want to have done to it is to remove the hoods from between the lugs....which is probably near impossible and have it look good. Not really a job for a dremel tool and hand files. It would probably be easier to find a new case.by jinxed - Poor Man's Watch Forum THAT could possibly be arranged! - 5 days ago
Although speedys are so detailed and the porcelain paint used for these is less than precise. I'm not sure how well it would come out? I did a mug for Dave P that had 3 watches on it and one was a Zenith chrono...its a little more bold in design though.by jinxed - Poor Man's Watch Forum Those are super cool! - 5 days ago
I've tossed out some <$20 bids on the bay hoping to score one, but they all go just a bit higher. One day I'll snag one, then I'll draw up a Rollie mug for myself and stir my coffee with it!! This is the one I did for Rodrigo of his SeaDweller.by jinxed - Poor Man's Watch Forum Fantastic!!!! - 13 days ago

Read up on it HERE and HEREby jinxed - Poor Man's Watch Forum I've had this happen once... - 20 days ago
Apparently this can happen due to multiple reasons on both seller and customer sides. When it happend to me it happend to be a watch purchase from a UK company, and PP explained to me that it was similar to a credit card approval for the funds, but that the actual transaction would not go through until the company processed the order. Coincidentally I had placed the order on a Friday as well aby jinxed - Poor Man's Watch Forum SOLD Orient Bambino White ER24005W Automatic - 29 days ago

You said the lugs are 22, but the B version looks narrower than A? Can you clarify the lug widths of each? Personally, I prefer 20mm lugs on cases 38-42by jinxed - Poor Man's Watch Forum One of my favorites! Never been lucky in catching one. - 6 weeks ago
I did a drawing of one for someone here...I made a print to keep for myself since I could never find the watch.by jinxed - Poor Man's Watch Forum I've used it... - 6 weeks ago
but not on a watch case. I did however use it regularly while working at the motorcycle dealership. Being a bit on the fastidious side, I was often called to detail some of the higher end used motos. Primarily it ended up being used on aluminum bits, but it was the go-to to clean up stainless steel pipes and exhaust cans. Being a polish we obviously didnt use it on any brushed surfaces. I drank the last beer in my fridge last night...BUT dang it was a GOOD one! Ovila Dubbel from Sierra Nevada. WOW it was tasty. Pretty spendy for a daily whistle wetter, but for a nice dinner or occasion it's nice. These are great! Steampunk and pocket watches are like apple pie and coffee. I have an old Waltham that was gifted to me 20 some odd years ago that I used to carry daily. It stopped working and I put it away. I've taken it to a couple watch repair places and they both agreed it just needed servicing but said it was too low end to bother with. They quoted me 200 & 250 to clean and oil it and saidby jinxed - Poor Man's Watch Forum Re: Very nice, did you ask Seiko's permission? - 7 weeks ago
