I decided to put away the black monster dial for now to try this brown 5 dial with the right number fonts. also switched to a brown strap to go with the dial. I think this is more in the direction of the Eterna-Matic Kontiki Super that suits the IDF bezel and started my inspiration in the first place. I had not selected the DST setting properly. It was in "Auto DST" which I thought would be fine if I picked GMT -5 Hours. It seems I have to manually tell it that I am using DST.. which defeats the purpose! haha. I'll just continue to trust my super trusty Emerson Smartset atomic digital clock radio, which is always right, and sets itself without ANY fiddling. Casio could learn something from

My only atomic, a Casio Waveceptor WVQ500, decided that, even this morning, and two manual signal grabs, it would still not acknowledge the DST change. I'll stick with my autos haha.
