A small assisted-opening folder, made by CRKT and designed by Japanese custom bladesmith Koji Hara. The sharpest point I´ve seen for years, and the edge is shaving sharp too. My preference runs towards wider and thicker blades, leaf or drop-point, when it comes to working knifes for everyday use, but this one is a nice diversion from that path. The blade is powered by a torsion bar inside the handle, but that only kicks into action when you´ve manually started to flick the blade open for the first 30 degrees out of the handle. Easiest way to open it safely is to flick your thumbnail against the opening disk in a movement similar to when shooting marbles, not to the side as one would first think. Hard to describe, easy to learn.
