Cleaning mineral residual off my G-Shock

The city I live uses hard water, ie. mineral water from ground or lake. It leaves heavy mineral residual when it dry up.

I wash my G-Shock with tap water from time to time. Now there is some mineral residual left on the crystal.

I know vinegar is very effective in cleaning off those residual on pot and kettle. Wonder if I can use it on the G-Shock. I just afraid the vinegar would harm the coating on the crystal or the plastic and paint.

Shouldn't be a problem with the crystal, I'm not sure about the plastic and paint....
