Report: Chicago GTG, September, 2011

I started the day in Rochester, and I flew to Chicago O'Hare. A quick check shows that the is just 40 minutes behind me, so I decided to find his arrival gate. Here's Tim, coming off the jetway.




We commuted to downtown Chicago, checked in to the hotel. Let's take a stroll and find Marc V for some watch shopping.

The Chicago River:



We visited Tourneau. But we were treated to a viewing of some very special watches at Swiss Fine Time. Here is a tourbillon by F.P. Journe,



That evening, Marc, Tim and I met Johnny, Anjan, Paul Geo, and Paul's son Phil at the ball park.

Saturday, we decided to check out Millennium Park. If you remember, this was Flat Reto's starting point on his big journey.

There is a big shiny sculpture.
