For this meeting I managed to bring all my watches except 8. That's very improved from past trips, but only because I sold off so many recently.

Left my home near Madison, WI at the WIS'in hour of 10:10am, thoroughly underestimated the effect of road construction near the end of my planned route, and arrived at Giordano's approximately 20 minutes late at 1:20pm. It only took 1 hour to drive through the last 30 miles.

At least I wasn't Anjan and actually went to the correct location.

The locals had all taken seats when I arrived...
Whoops! remember to use that fill-flash against a window.

(See it's Marc and Ray there, just have to crank-up the brightness to see them.)

"Paul, as a friend and confidant, I feel it's my duty to tell you to never wear horizontal stripes with a beige blazer again."

Anjan arrives!

Watches start littering the table.

Sunday finest on the wrists too.

The server had to just put the food on the next table because there were too many watches sitting out.

We packed everything up safe and started eating later.
It was once again a great time, I enjoy talking with everybody (evidenced by me forgetting to take more pictures once again), chatting about watches, the forum, online and offline friends, local real estate, and the price of tea in China.

Anjan gets the long-distance visitor award for this meeting. Paul and Marc were awarded their WOTM commemorative watches, with all the dignity and ceremony they certainly deserved. Got too look at everybody's newest watches in person, and the party ran until the beginning of the dinner-time rush. Thanks Paul for organizing once again.
