First of all I don't want to forget to thank Ricky Lee for the prize he sent from the contest he posted a few weeks back. I'm sure it arrived a while ago, but I just got back from Costa Rica last night. Thanks man!
So, left on January 2 and had a great trip. Here's a little background if you're interested.

First stop on our way to Carara National Park, a shot west from the mountains with my Citizen NY2300 in the foreground.

Here are some watches they had at the restaurant/souvenier shop up there.

Got reaquainted with old friends at Carara

In our bedroom I saw the biggest wolf spider I've ever seen. Easily over 6 inches across including legs.
Here's a shot out the bus window on our way to Volcan Tenorio National Park...

where we took a horseback ride into the park

The Rio Celeste' runs throught the park, and has ridiculously blue water, I think from copper sulfate.

This picture doesn't do the color justice.
We did get to spend one day relaxing at the beach.

Here's a shot of the Orosi Valley near Volcan Tapanti National Park.

Saw some cool critters up there as well...

and awesome plants.

Finally, here's a video that features my Citizen on a zip line through the canopy of some lowland forest.
