*Why?: Well-made watch with a good-looking Explorer-type dial. Very accurate movement. Titoni makes no-nonsense, functional watches (without a lot of style variations) that are very inexpensive but well put-together. They use stock ETA 2824-2 movements but assemble the parts in their own factory in Grenchen, Switzerland. In my experience, Titonis run more consistently and wind more smoothly than other ETA-2824 watches because of that. Can be had on the net for less than $250 USD (NOTE: not current pricing).
