Jack Bauer on "24"

So my wife and I just started watching "24" on Netflix (I know, we're a TAD behind the times laughing). Of course, I noticed Jack Bauer's black sub-like watch and had to look it up on Jim's site. It was ID'd on the site as a fake Rolex, so I'm curious what gave it away as a fake. I just finished watching an episode that gave an extremely good (for a TV show) close-up of the watch, and while it was clearly marked "Rolex" I wonder how someone could tell it's fake from such a quick and low-quality image like that.

Thanks guys!

Dan

Thanks James! I wondered if it might have come up in one of the later story lines. I'll let you know if I find out anything. (n/t) DJM638July 11, 2011 08:54PM
