A WIM success story
A couple weeks back a kind gent by the name of Richard sent in a screen shot from the 1973 horror classic, "The Exorcist". He wasn't sure of the watch and was hoping I or a site visitor would be able to assist. ![]() I suspected it was a vintage (obviously) Heuer Autiva, but wasn't sure. However, shortly after posting I received an email confirmation that it was in fact a Heuer Autavia Ref.2446 MH Cal.72. I updated the listing and let Richard know the model. He asked if I had a source for the watch; my recommendation was he try onthedash.com, I figured someone would be able to direct him. Wouldn't you know it, today I got a nice email from Richard with a photo attached: he found one! Congrats Richard! Glad that the Watches in Movies site was able to help you not only identify the watch in the film but track one down as well. Jittery Jim :: James :: PMWF Admin • • • • • •
