The other day MCV mentioned this one, as did "TAL", and then CarlosX -- then I see it popping up in conversation all over the place.

I keep hearing about this watch! Another small independent, generating a lot of excitement amongst the serious dive crowd -- It's very clean, utilizes Seiko Lumi Brite, squat case at a mere 45mm to fit many wrists, though 44mm wide & 16mm tall -- a mere $325 for pre-order for what looks to be a very rugged, nicely spec-ed big diver.

A lot of buzz on the WUS dive forums, and I glanced at forumers "sigs", and after a list of serious $1500+ dive watches, there you will see - "incoming" HALIOS -- Go figure

Probably too tall for me, but I think it looks very very nice, and a lot of dial and case configs -- though very limited quantities.

What's your take?

BTW, it's common knowledge there are parts from China utilized, doesn't seem to matter

The next offering from HALIOS, this fall, is said to utilize a Seiko 6R15 movement.
