Perhaps the first one to really live up to the Tom Swift name, judged on features alone. :-)

This is one o' the lot of $1.35 watches. 'cept I had no 399 cell in stock, so I had to pay a shocking $4.20 Danegeld to Wal-Mart for the battery. EEK! CRYING! The skinny is..

An odd movement that I've never before seen and which, I must say, makes a lot of sense to me. Thumbs Up The layout seems a bit odd at first..

Crowns and pushers at 2, 4, 8, and 10? How often do you see that? And the weird truncated half-dome layout of the analog side? After a bit, though, it strikes me as an eminently ergonomic design! Hubba hubba!

There must be a Very Rich Man's Watch! version, surely. ;-) Anyone know? LOL!

Looks very similar to my Adi Jpeg Attachments

Ed Brandwein85March 14, 2009 05:01AM

Yup! But with the key difference that your Adi does have the crown at 3.

I am guessing the real gold is starting to show on the case from light wear. (n/t)

Mark C.71March 14, 2009 04:07AM

Ricky, I used to wear an old Waltham that looks nearly identical.

Chris L93March 14, 2009 03:53AM

Cool And how did it work for you? Curious..

Ricky Lee83March 14, 2009 04:02AM

I found using the timing bezel to be unfeasable. Jpeg Attachments
