Thank you! This is my first automatic watch, and I have no idea what to expect, except that it sure seems gorgeous for something that cost $140. But what do I know smile It's funny, it was between this and a Reactor Trident that I saw on eBay with their Never Dark tech - the superluminova plus tritium... and that is a quartz watch. I'm glad I kept the Orient. I was about to send it back when my wife said - keep both (meaning the Vestal Doppler and the Orient Blue Mako). It was very nice of her.

I wish someone could explain why my Tag Heuer, which was pretty darned expensive in 1989 dollars, is such a piece of junk (IMHO). For that much money, they could at least have made a chronograph that could reset to it's proper default status - instead of having the hands be off kilter. I'd throw the watch away, except that it works. Right now it has a crappy spandex bracelet on it, and I haven't felt compelled to put anything better on it because I just don't wear it. It is quartz - so it's not even interesting as an automatic would be... what junk.
