What on your wishlist? Smile

Just a week ago, I did not have a wish list. I wore a few current mechanical favorites--both hand wind & automatic--one at a time, usually for a week or so, then switched to the next one in loose order. I also wore one digital as a beater--Nixon The Unit Rasta. Since then, I've dug out my 14060 no-date Sub, which I haven't worn for at least a year, purchased 2 nylon straps & plan to purchase another. Buying 3 straps for a watch might seem normal to many, but it's very rare for me since I'm extremely frugal when it comes to watch accessories. It's probably been over a decade since I've done something this extravagant. Strap $=Watch $=Affordable Watch is my usual calculus. Having said the above, here's my current wish list.

G-Shock Rangeman GW-9400. A triple-sensor (barometer/altimeter, thermometer & digital compass) with legendary G-Shock toughness. What's not to like!

BobbyMike's Mr Jones post. made me take another look at the brand particularly The Last Laugh.

The last time I looked, I just assumed it was quartz but now I've confirmed it's powered by a Tianjin Seagull true jump hour automatic. I've owned 2 Alphas with the same movement. I like the novelty of the design but both the 37mm case & jump hour aperture are rather small. Still, I can't stop thinking about The Last Laugh Tattoo.

I don't remember the last time I purchased an analog quartz watch. The Bradley really caught my eye because I sold talking watches to the visually impaired over 20 years ago. When I joined PMWF I purchased a Raketa Braille watch which made me remember those talking watches & the people who used them. It makes me a little sad when I read about wealthy collectors buying minute repeaters. I hope this watch will become popular & wish to own one. It won't get much wrist time but that doesn't matter.

So what's on your radar?

Thanks for reading,
Adam.
