My word of caution: NATO and NATO-style straps make all watches wear bigger.

Just the way the straps thread through the lugs and under the watch adds extra bulk to the entire package. I long ago gave up on wearing one-piece straps on larger watches for this reason. They do help a smaller watch feel bigger in a good way. smile

As for me, I won't wear a watch that big anymore. My wrist is a bit smaller, more like 6 3/4 inches around. 42mm is ordinarily my maximum size, but I have a handful of 43mm watches that I like to wear. I need to try them on at that size to see if it works first.

Nato is a pretty skinny strap, if anything I would try a Zulu that is a little thicker and stiffer.

I actually have this exact model. It definitely has some wrist presence Jpeg Attachments

Vedry sharp looking Invicta, I've considered that particular model in the past...

My observation is that watch size has peaked and is devolving back to more moderate dimensions. (n/t)

JohnnyT50February 13, 2013 04:18AM

It is looking very good however out of my "wrist league" (n/t)
