I still have my prized eco drive that has died. I tracked down some companies that do repairs but many of these companies want very high prices to replace the batteries. I found that Citizen has a repair company in my area and they recommend taking the watch to your local repair place vs. mailing the watch in, so I drove over they today with my watch. It took me a long time to get there because of major traffic jams, had to drive 10 miles to the place, and when I got there the door was locked. I saw their sign that said that they closed at 3:00PM, I looked down at my watch which I had checked against the internet this morning and it said 3:02PM. I suppose the employees have accurate watches and close the door as early as they can. Well now despite Citizen's recommendations I'm going to mail the watch to their service place across the country.
I find it amazing that Citizen goes to all this trouble to provide a solar power system with a battery that can last only 5 years and costs $100 to replace when my Luminox has a standard battery that lasts at least that long and I can buy one in the drug store and replace it myself.
