A BIG

I was late this morning, so still in my jammies, when the doorbell rang and I got a little box, which I did not have to sign for and smelled like it came from a smokers household

Anyway, out of it came my Greek purchase, the Swatch Irony The Chrono GET FLY ARANCIONE YOS415G!!

I did not dress, but put on a bath robe, went to my little polishing machine and got to work. It took me a bit more time then norma to clean up the scratch in the acrylic crystal but I managed. At making a picture, I found, there is still some uneveness in the crystal, which one only sees in a picture and in certain light, so I still have to polish that out. It is noticeable between the 3 and the date window. Had to remove one link and replace the pin of the clasp to the outside and I was OK. Extensive cleaning was also necessary, especially after polishing. Then to finish it off, I took a shower with it
For the rest, I'm really happy. It came in just 5 days after winning, in box with all the papers and links, it is very SOLID and heavy, about the weight of my Army Watch Germany, but a few mm's larger and smoother overall...
