Last Friday was a good day!

I stopped by one of the pawn shops I’ve been by before, but they’ve never really had much of anything. Since I was in the area, I figured I give them a try. It was definitely worth while!
They had a Citizen 2100 in the case that they had just put out that morning! I have always liked this watch. The crystal has quite a few scratches along with the bracelet, but everything was functioning perfectly. The price they were asking was already ridiculously low and then they told me they would take off $10 for cash.

Well while I was looking at the 2100 I noticed they also had a Citizen Nighthawk! It was in the same shape as the 2100 but again everything was working. Well I couldn’t just leave it there alone , so I made a deal for both! After some back and forth negotiating with the lady who came out from the back, I added two new Eco Drives to my humble collection for well under a Franklin! Here are some pics.

These are after I cleaned all the gunk out as well as re-brushed the bracelet and case. It brushed up surprisingly well.





You can see the scratches in the crystal here, but it really only looks this way in certain light at just the right angle.



The lume is also a nice Blue.



The 2100 has only been wiped down and the gunk cleaned from it’s crevices.
