I have a friends watch and need some assistance. The crystal was cracked, what is the best way to remove the remenants of the crystal, it appears to be glued in place and I really dont want to hack around with a knife?

I plan on:
(1) Replacing the crystal
(2) Replacing the crown with an original
(3) Cleaning the dial and hands and re-luming

Thank you,
Dan

PS. Sorry for the poor quality pictures

The only way I could think of is to use a heater/hairdryer. This should >>>
