I recently came across a Swiss Army quartz watch and thought it would be a good opportunity to practice cleaning and sandblasting of the case and bezel. (no before pictures, sorry.)
I'm pretty sure it was dunked in latex paint at some point, and I've cleaned it up and removed the bezel.
The problem I'm having is that the bezel seems to be slightly bent. One corner bends up slightly and there is a gap between the bezel and case.
I know that it is the bezel because I've installed it without the click ring to ensure the click ring wasn't warped, and the gap is still there.
I assume someone here (or several someones) have dealt with this problem in the past, and so I'd like to pick your brains about how to flatten the bezel back out before reinstallation.
Are there any tricks you've used to straighten it back out?
