I've had this watch for a few Years now, it never really working properly from day one but I decided to keep it anyway as it is a very interesting watch. I finally got around to tinkering with it, I completely dissassembled it over the weekend and gave it a full cleaning and oiling, the movement was in pretty gummy shape as even the balance jewel had to be completely taken apart and cleaned individually, it was that gummy. I was especially carefull with this one as the movement is so beautiful and pristine (except for the dirt and gummy stuff). I don't know much about this brand but alot of work was put into this one; the movement is gold plated with beautiful pearlage on the main plate and bridges and liberal use of gold plate in the lettering and around the jewels. The dial is also very nice and finished in a shiny deep lacquer type finish with highy polished indicies and lettering and the case is a full stainless steel case for durability. So far the watch has been keeping great time since Yesterday. It's because of such watches that I'm into vintage watches, later watches are just not finished to the degree of this one, especially the movement which was only meant for the watchmakers pleasure, I wich that I could find a glass back that fits this watch just so that I can take an occasional peak, it looks that good in person.
