Watches will have quartz movement and price point is $400-800 . The first model is called Argonite 1069 with hand-assembled movement.
Incidently, the watch factory building, named Argonaut, used to house GM's design team. Also, Shinola also make bicycles, paper and leather goods. I sincerely hope they can maintain their focus.
For the young at heart, you might remember the old English saying "You don't know #h1t from Shinola!".
