New MKII - PMWF GMT pictures and first impressions.... Picture intensive post

People have been asking about measurements and pricing. I can help with the first. Reto and Bill are still determining the final price. Reto will post that price in this sub forum when he has finalized it.

Measurements (approximate)

Case (w/crown) = 46mm
Lugs = 20mm
Lug to Lug = 49.5mm
Bezel (inner) = 29.5mm
Bezel (outer) = 41.25mm

Received the first watch (#27 - not #1) from Bill today. Without a lot of hype I'd like to show you what I saw. Any specks you see is dust from my 211 year old house. The watch was pristine when it arrived. Bill Yao has a well deserved reputation for attention to detail. Everything about this watch package displays this.

Watch was well packed and well protected. The included watch case was wrapped in bubble wrap AND surrounded by packing peanuts. There was no movement when I gently shook the box before opening it. Well done!

The watch comes complete with a bracelet and a rubber strap. Included in the watch case is also a spring bar tool and a vial with two extra pairs of spring bars. I didn't take a close up of the new warranty card that now comes with all MKIIs. An explanation of the card's features can be found here.

As shipped the PMWF GMT is well protected by protective film on the crystal, the case back and even the helium valve. I appreciate the care that was shown in the presentation of the watch.

In most of these pictures the crystal was still covered by the protective film, I left it on until after I had removed the extra links.
I have a 7 1/2" wrist. I really seriously doubt anyone will have a wrist too big for the included bracelet. As it is I had to remove two links from each side. Luckily I had two screwdrivers in the correct size.

I've tried to take pictures of as many of the GMT's features as I could to let the watch speak for itself. If you feel I missed anything - let me know, I'll try to accommodate any requests I get.

This is the first watch I really wanted to get a lume shot of - sorry it's not better... I will be trying again and will post the results.

Adding more comments here:

Bezel action is very nice. Solid clicks, unidirectional - no play. Easy to turn with two fingers, yet not too easy. I don't think you could accidentally advance it.

Choosing not to forgive someone the wrong they have done you is like drinking poison and waiting for them to die.
