8th Hong Kong Travel Report September 2002

The Hong Kong WATCH & CLOCK Fair 2002 was the main topic of this 8th trip to Hong Kong. In the year 2000, I had seen an advertising on the street while working for an IT project in Hong Kong. I remember, that I had been rather disappointed, because I expected something like the Basel Fair but found a rather small fair featuring mainly Asian suppliers and almost no known brands. But the fair has been growing a lot during the last two years. And in the mean time my interest has shifted from the outside of watches to the inside. Thus this visit was a real pleasure and my expectations were fully met. I hope you enjoy the report!
